The Bean

Bean_1_small

I work just south of the Loop but don't get many chances to head up to Millennium Park. It's a nice treat when I finally have the time to go there.

I love taking pictures of the Bean. The reflection of downtown is just amazing, especially when the sun is shining on the buildings. The reflection of the sky is equally incredible whether it's a clear or cloudy day. If you want a great shot with few people, head out very early in the morning. The sunrise can create an astounding effect too.

Each time I'm in Millennium Park, I have to stop there. It's that good.

Experience it all in one park

I just love Millennium Park! I think the Bean (Cloud Gate) is my favorite part of the park but I also love to catch a concert at Pritzker Pavilion. It's home to the Grant Park Orchestra and has wonderful acoustics.

It's also great to see so many Chicago families hanging out on the lawn or playing in the Crown Fountain. It's a one-stop show for Chicago fun!
