Solid Coffee House on the River

I work close to the river on the SE side - near the Hawthorne Bridge. It's more of an industrial area, which unfortunately means that there aren't many places to grab a cup of coffee or a quick lunch. Except for Cooper's.

Cooper's is right along the river - a good stop for anyone who runs/walks/bikes along the esplanade. I've had lunch (a delicious veggie sandwich) and breakfast (a toasted bagel w/ cream cheese). The prices aren't terrific, but the food is tasty. My co-workers are fans of the Italian sodas, and everyone seems to enjoy the coffee. Beer and soda are also available.

There's plenty of seating inside (and outside) along with a big TV - Tour de France was playing earlier this week. A good spot for a weekday lunch!
