The Sports Museum of America has just recently opened in NYC and it is worth the pricey cost of admission. At $27 a person this museum sets high expectations, but when I walked out of the elevator and saw the first ever Heisman Trophy I knew that I was in for a treat. From the Olympics to the NBA, no sport or legendary icon is overlooked. This museum even has interactive exhibits and each room has a theme. The golf room replicates the grandest of clubhouses and the basketball room has the obvious hardwood floor. For anyone that has ever followed a team or played a sport this is a great way to spend an afternoon.
