But I'd gladly go out of my way to bypass the competition, since the phenomenal staff are the real reason to make the daily jaunt. Despite their rapidly growing clientele, the Rooster boys will go the extra mile to remember your face, your name, and your morning fix.

If you're looking for the best Yerba Mate Latte in the city, this is your place! Black Rooster offers several varieties of Santiago Yerba Mate with an endless array of syrups to make them your own. My personal favorite - an iced almond Einstein mate latte.

Located on SW 10th Ave, you can hop right off the Streetcar on your way into the Pearl.
