The Roxy is Portland's best 24 hour diner, and although closed on Mondays, they are the best option if you're downtown to grab food at all hours. They sometimes have Voodoo donuts in stock and always a plenty supply of coffee, which comes in your own personal carafe. The service is 'cool' in that the staff are cool in the way the dress, etc and are friendly enough..but don't expect them to be like Flo from Mel's diner, either. Ask to see their community sketchbook that patrons have regularly added to and maybe put a drawing in yourself. The decor is one-of-a-kind Portland old-school style chill out and there are a lot of little things to look at. Only downside-they don't have ice cream. Shux.
