The Clark Center is a mens limited duration shelter(approx. 3month stay). It holds around 50 men, who are making changes in their lives for the better of themselves and others. Well, they have a kitchen in which volunteers and sometimes the tenants can cook up one kick-ass dinner. The environment here is clean and friendly. At the end of a hard day, either pounding the pavement looking for work or perhaps even working, the men are eager for the Clark Center dinner. Volunteers can either bring in food or cook it in the C.C. facilities. Here you will see smiling faces, hear laughter , and feel hope for mankind. Oh, yeah, if you volunteer to cook a meal, don't forget to serve yourself a giant plate of grub. So if you're in town visiting or you live here, give Clark Center a call, reserve your spot as a volunteer. You''ll get a standing ovation, thanking you for your kindness and of course the grub.
