McMenamins fixes their service problems

In the years we've been in Portland, McMenamins restaurants have been famous for terrible service. We were recently desperate for food as we were driving by the Hillsdale Pub and decided that we were hungry enough to give it a chance. We are NOT sorry we did! The service was great, the food came quickly, and it was tasty, too. Just in case it was a fluke we went back a couple weeks later, and it was just as good the second time. Good food, good beer, and good service. A nice little brewpub, all in all.
