Tottie's Shanghai or Asian Fusion, or whatever she's calling it these days, has been one of my favorite places for the past few years.
We'll drive across the city for good sushi, viet namese, or thai food, but luckily Tottie's is right in our own neighborhood. The new name seems to say it all... and while it may make you think the food is the fusion - don't be fooled the menu is the fusion - of thai, chinese, japanese and I think even Viet Namese dishes - all true to their origins.
The Tom Yum soup is incredible. the spice is no joke at this place. 3 on a scale of 5 will have your lips on fire and your nose running, but you'll love every spoonful! Their fried rice is great too... though I ask for it with no bean sprouts - if you like them, go light, they really spring for sprouts otherwise!
The Spring Rolls filled with rice vermicelli, pork, shrimp, basil and mint are fresh and refreshing - dip these little rolls in spicy peanut sauce and wash them down with a sapporo and you've got a fantastic fusion of asian flavor.
