It was early April, so the summer foliage hadn't grown in yet, but the back terrace at Cafe Soriah was still sunny and warm and the food was great. With a variety of wonderful dishes on the regular menu, Cafe Soriah always has unique specials and their breads are baked fresh daily. I took out of town guests and we had a wonderful meal. I enjoyed lamb with a mango, apple, raisin curry. Others in the group savored salmon.

Classy, cozy and delicious, Café Soriah sets the standard as one of “my favorite restaurants ever!” This is THE PLACE to take visiting friends wanting a great Eugene experience, and would also be a VERY romantic spot for a first date. The intimate setting inside is lovely and sociable, and an outdoor courtyard is also available during nicer weather. Try a fresh-squeezed margarita along with your hummus plate, or enjoy a complete Mediterranean / Middle Eastern / North-Western / European meal with a fine selection of wine and an exquisite dessert! There is an emphasis on fresh & local food, with a little something for everyone, but just be sure to save room for a sweet ending: owner Ib’s tableside flambé is a spectacle to behold!
