this was a great tour. completely eco-friendly - built over a stream so extremely little clear cutting involved. the lodge runs on hydroelectro power in the summer. matt and rachel - the owners - are nice, helpful, and just genuinely fantastic people.
they provide slickers to protect from the elements (including sap). and they are extremely safety conscious. learned a tremendous amount about the local trees and wildlife.
just enough adrenaline to make it a truly unique experience - just calm enough that you could bring older kids, and an adventurous grandma.
the suspension bridge segment provided a whole new thrill. wrapping up the day with a locally brewed alaskan amber was the perfect close. all in all - two thumbs up.
