Roadhouse 101, a 6,000-square foot party place, has been drawing the young dance crowd since Brian Whitehead of Salem opened it two years ago at 4649 S.W. Hwy 101. I no longer run in those circles, but I still stopped by Friday night to see what was happening.
I don't suspect it was the biggest crowd the place had ever handled, but I left early (10 p.m.) before it really got hot. Saturday's live music usually has a well-known drawing card. So if you want to rumble on the coast, and the retro-'70s concerts at Chinook Winds are too tame for you, check out Roadhouse 101.
