Bowl and have a ball

I was somewhat skeptical if going bowling would be the right thing to do with a group of 8 on a Friday night but what can I tell you - we really had fun. The Grand Central is pretty new, nice restaurant / lounge area, happy hour (only in the lounge!) until 6:30pm. To bowl you need to rent shoes, the bowling lanes cost between $27 and $48 (prime time Friday & Saturday after 8pm) per hour. It is not cheap but it is fun. I should mention that most of our balls (or is it bowls?) had the tendency to drift left or right, not sure if the lanes are uneven or there is another explanation ...
