My boyfriend is a pool-fiend; me, not at all. Pretty much the only way he can get me to join him at a pool hall is to bribe me with yummy food and alcohol.
This is an old-school place - wood-paneled walls, dim lighting, infectious jazz on the speakers.
They have a wonderful happy hour menu - 5 mini courses for $10. Or, paired with wine for $20. The menu has a theme - for example, Basque, Brazillian, Italian, etc.
I think this mini-tasting menu changes weekly.

Uptown Billiards has everything for the "let's meet somewhere fun downtown" kind of outing. It's a fun atmosphere, full bar + pool tables, what more could you ask for? Good food and fun drinks. We have a good time there meeting up with friends (of all ages) because it's nice and clean - and for a pool hall that's unusual. They're really an upscale billiards locale - and have a private room you can rent for poker / casino parties.

non smoking billiard place...this could sound weird at first, but step up in the Uptown Billiard Club, and you will be welcomed with a charmy and classy restaurant-billiard-casino (some nights). If you want to impress your date, or your wife, this is THE place to go. This location organizes as well catering event and private parties. Highly recommended!!
