Had dinner at Ten01 last week and tasted the most finger licking Thai pork ribs--sweet and tangy and meaty and salty. Then a sweet onion creamy soup topped with lamb meatballs and a touch of curry oil. Then lamb chops and blue cheese gnocchi (can I get a whole dish of the gnocchi next time!) Finished off with salted caramel ice cream that is better than the new Haagen Daz premium reserve line we have been devouring at home. Kelly, the bartender makes great, unique cocktails. The only critique is the four top square tables are too big so you feel a bit removed from your co-diners.

I like the oysters on the halfshell during happy hour. I think they are a buck a piece, and sometimes have kumamotos.

Lovely dark wood and metal bar with high top booths to accommodate you for a drink and appetizers (the Crispy Thai Style Pork Ribs are off the charts!!), or you can venture into the dining room for a cozy, yet cramped (the bar area is more romantic if this is a date, yet note that I have not eaten upstairs which might be more private) dinner. The sea scallops are delicious and highly recommended. They also provide a few tables on the street during warmer months which provides great people watching in the heart of the Pearl.
I recommend this for a culinary treat as each dish is unique and flavorful, yet portion size is smaller (yet quite filling). They also have a varied wine menu and a extremely helpful and knowledgeable sommelier (Erica) to guide you with pairings. Or go during their happy hour to enjoy their incredible appetizers at a discount (I believe it is from 4-6PM, call to confirm). Service is impeccable and they offer valet parking (if you need it).
