I went to see Wicked as part of the Keller Auditorium's Broadway in Portland series. I thoroughly enjoyed the show from the balcony.
Parking was a nightmare, even for the weekday matinee performance. There are Smart Park garages, but they were all full. Many of the small lots with higher prices were also full. Unless you get there quite early, plan to walk a ways.
The auditorium balcony seat had clear views of the stage. Be warned that the balcony begins at least halfway or more back from the stage, so good eyesight is a must.
Ushers were pleasant. The small refreshments booth on the balcony level was a bit overwhelmed by the numbers of us in line. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were fabulous!
