Cassandra Wilson and Jason Moran

On Friday, February 20, 2009, at 7:30p.m. Jason Moran will open for Cassandra Wilson at the Arlene Scnitzer Concert Hall. Moran is a very talented pianist at Blue Note Recording artist since 1997. Cassandra Wilson is a world renowned vocalist, songwriter and producer, with an extraordinary following. She is a Mississippi girl at heart, whose art reflects her deep musical and cultural roots.

Dianne Reeves with the Oregon Symphony

On Valentine's Day, the second and most romantic night of the 2009 Portland Jazz Festival, Dianne Reeves will perform at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at 7:30p.m. Reeves, Blue Note Records' premier vocalist, has won 4 Grammy Awards in the Best Jazz Vocalist Category.
