Delcious Organic Food

We've been to Tin Shed a few times now for breakfast and everything I've had is delicious. Warning: There is always at least a half hour wait on weekend mornings for breakfast, but you can help yourself to coffee while you wait.
We had dinner for the first time last night, on Wednesday nights they play movies outside while you eat, which is a lot of fun and feels like you're hanging out with your neighbors in your backyard (except my yard isn't that nice and my cooking isn't that good). Their website claims that they do a late happy hour, but they don't anymore. But prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Everything is local and organic. Anything you don't eat gets composted. This restaurant is Portland through and through.

Fabulous outdoor seating!

I want their landscape designer to come over and do our yard. It's so homey and comfortable - it's just lovely. Dogs welcome outside (I even think there might be a small dog menu, if I remember correctly.)

Fresh, delicious food, good coffee. Lots of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Yummy biscuits, omelets, scrambles.

And Your Little Dog, Too

The witty menu alone should bring you to the Tin Shed, but wait! there's more! Gourmet goodness for the pooch and gustatory abundance from the high-grade, fair-trade coffee to the inventive benedicts and cheese grits. The courtyard has a groovy vibe, and when there's a wait it's just a pleasure to grab a cup of tea and hang out on the curb making new friends. Me...I'm planning to check out the Wednesday night movies, advertised with "$2 top shelf whiskey." Nazdrovya!
