This is a nice place for a dependably good meal. Lunch is available with standard American fare. The dinner menu also offers standard fare, but there are a few dishes that are more distinctive, such as the very rich artichoke and crab casserole. The pot pies are delicious, served with home-made apple sauce. There is a full bar in this large restaurant in the north end of Cannon Beach. The decor is modern with clean lines and lots of wood.

My last trip to Cannon Beach I experienced a trip to the lumberyard restaurant and it was a delightful and fun place to eat, people watch and enjoy great food. Tillamook macaroni and cheese will be a great lunch for Leslie's 2 sons after a hearty walk on the beach. If they are spending the night I would recommend the SurfSand which was very family friendly and had great kid activities including your own private campfire and marshmallow roast on the beach.
