So I will probably get land blasted for this one but here goes anyway. Once again I had a less than average experience at Mo's in Newport ( and let me stress the fact that it is and has only been the Mo's in Newport that i have ever had an unpleasant time at!). With that said, knowing that I didn't care for the way Newport prepares the food i decided to go with just chowder ( how can you screw up chowder?), while the rest of the people in my party went wirh other choices, all however getting a small side salad. Their version of salad is shredded cabbage topped with watered down bay shrimp, served with "their" version of ranh dressing which tasted like tartar sauce. Apparently we are not the only one's to fell this way, as the waitress snapped back saying it did not tatse like tartar sauce. In the end however when the bill came she did take off all the salads. If you truly want a great Mo's experience I believe the best Mo's is in Florence!!!

You can not go to the oregon coast without going to Mo's restaurant.Even if you don't like clam chowder you will like theirs. There is two in Newport, one in Florence, one in cannon beach, one in lincoln city and one in Florence.I live in Idaho and have a sweatshirt that says Mo's on it and people stop me all the time and ask if it is THE Mo's and then we sit there and talk about what a wonderful experience it is.They have a lot of other things to eat also.
