The food here is amazing. Their Greek salad is soooo good and very filling. Try the Pastitzio, a Greek take on lasagna but with a bechamel sauce and lamb instead of tomato sauce and beef.

This place has been around for ever. If you walk down West Burnside in Portland Downtown, you will barely notice this restaurant, and, to be honest, the outside is not very welcoming. However, once you have tried this place, you will keep coming back there: the food is just amazingly fresh, extremly tasty, and very authentic. The best thing: you will be welcomed every night by the owner, a native greek, and if you are lucky, the greek chef will come to greet you and will ask you how was the food - this has happened to us already twice -
Don't miss : the spanakopita, the dolmates, the amazing greek salad (ask the chef for his secret dressing recipe, you will be surprised), the lamb...and the home made bread - which is very different from the other breads you can find in town.
Don't be shy or scared by the rough Burnside and step into the greek paradise of Portland
