good, reasonably priced Thai food

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. The food is great. I especially like the Pad See-Ew. The place is reasonably priced and the interior is nice-looking. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating and it is right off Burnside, only a block away from Powell's Books.

Good stuff.

The veggie Pad Thai here is the best I've found in the city. And there are a ton of Thai places here. Quick, solid lunch service that although crowded is very good. I haven't had a bad veggie dish here yet. Yup.

Tai Peackock is a 10!

The Tai Peacock in downtown Portland is easy to miss, but one of the best finds in town. The Curry is the best that I have ever had, wonder ful flavor and the perfect serving size for leftovers! The actual restaurant is very small so finding seating for a large group will be difficult, pricing is moderate. I reccomend trying the tai soup - chicken, onions, mushrooms and lots of other great stuff makes for a spicy yet tasty dish.
