I agree, Toast is a much needed restaurant in this 'hood

The food is good - I'm not giving it a 5, but it is really hearty, local / neighborhood food. There are very few really notable restaurants in this part of Portland, and I hope Toast succeeds and sets a trend.

Toast is awesome

What a great place, I just love the food. They try their best to use only local organic ingredients and everybody either walks or bikes to work. The staff is fantastic and the food is great. Also their drinks are out of this world.
