The Wayfarer is a great place to go for dinner in Cannon Beach when you're looking for higher-end fare.Their appetizers were my favorite part of the entire menu, and our party sampled nearly all of them. We started with the avacado fingers and the calamari, and then moved on to the Oregon blue cheese and pinot noir mushroom caps. All four were fantastic, and great for sharing around the table.
I had the Halibut Steverino for dinner and was impressed with the portion size and the overall taste of the dish. And dessert? Definitely worth it.

Though Wayfarer is a large restaurant we were treated and served very prompt, very friendly and very competent. From most of the tables you can see Haystack rock and if you get a seat at one of the beach windows there's just the glass and the sand between you and the Rock. Dine there at sunset! We had crab crusted Salmon and Halibut Steverino and we think that was the best we got during our stay at Cannon Beach.
