  1. The Ocean Lodge

What a great place to stay! The west facing rooms have balconies overlooking the ocean with views of Haystack Rock. I really enjoyed the little touches - warm cookies in the lobby, the smell of the wood-burning fireplace, and a very friendly staff. Great for storm watching in the colder months. And the location is close to downtown Cannon Beach, but not in the thick of things.

  2. Escape!

We just had three wonderful days at The Ocean Lodge. This hotel is located directly on the beach and we were fortunate enough to have access to the beach directly from our room. We asked for a pet friendly room so that we could bring our 1 1/2 year old dog with us and all that was available was an accessible room. We took it and found that the room was actually very functional and that it was very well outfitted for any guest. Sometimes hotels change the look and feel of a room completely when dealing with accessibility and that is simply not the case at The Ocean Lodge. They did a very nice job with this room and I have stayed in other rooms at this property and this one is as nice as the rest!

The dog loved the beach, the owners loved the access and the views from the room! Service was very good, Troy and Eva at the Front Desk took good care of us. The lodge is a the perfect place for some R&R. It has a DVD player in each room and a large selection of free DVD's to check out from reception. Also, the property offers free WiFi for those who must have access!

There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by to the Lodge.

  3. Newmans 988

This is one of the coziest restaurants I have ever been too. It is elegant with white table clothes and dim light, with only a few tables, so very romantic. There is also outside seating when the weather is nice. The cuisine is French and Italian with a Pacific Coast touch. The chef/owner used to be the chef at the Stefanie Inn in Cannon Beach.

  4. Room with a View

I recently was lucky enough to stay at The Ocean Lodge. It is fantastic. The service was incredible and the entire staff looked clean and sharp. The rooms look and feel new (I think the hotel is only a few years old)! The prices are a bit high compared to other places to stay in Cannon Beach, but well worth it! A great place for a suprise weekend for your special someone!
