Yuppie coffee

When people say that Hood River is loosing its soul as more and more hip, chic and pricey stores and restaurants move in they must be talking about places like this. A trendy coffee bar with an interesting selection of coffees, teas, soft drinks and wines. Not only does the place feel big-city, it also charges big-city prices: sandwiches are a steep $8. But services is really friendly and so the place fills with mothers with strollers, windsurfers that are taking a break and families with children that are fascinated by the water fountain on the side of the building.
