A Feast for the Eyes!

As someone who enjoys colors, textures, and anything creative -- I love to go to this gallery/store! The Real Mother Goose boasts items made by approximately 1,000 artists (their estimate) and offers just about every aspect of creativity imaginable -- including artisan and fine jewelry, pottery, blown and fused glass work, textiles, woodworking, and more! Most often I visit their downtown location, but they do have a store at the airport, too. It's a great place to find a unique gift for someone... or for yourself!

Gifts of exquisite quality

I am not a shopper. However, when I want to buy something, I really want to get the best. Real Mother Goose has been that kind of place in Portland for decades. They feature jewelry, furnishings, decorative items, and apparel all handmade by selected artists. The stores are fun just to browse because the variety and beauty of the work is so amazing. My favorite purchases have been bracelets for my wife. And occasional other jewelry. I always find something that I know will touch her spirit, catch her fancy. Last year, a bracelet I'd bought years before began to come apart. I took it back to the store to see if the artist was still working with them and could repair it. He was still working with them but no longer made that particular kind of piece. Instead, he sent back the last piece he had in that style at no charge. So the quality of customer care and relationships is extraordinary.
