Wine Depot Update - Great wine shop & friendly staff!

I am happy to report that my first experience with the staff at Wine Depot (reported earlier) appears to have been an anomaly! I've been to the depot countless times since my first visit and the staff have always been super friendly and helpful.

Lunch tip: If you love chicken-salad sandwiches, be sure and order it here (on a croissant); you won't be disappointed in the least bit.

Cute place, good food, great wine selction...BUT...they could use some friendlier staff!

Located in downtown This cute cafe is a deli/wine shop. They have nice outdoor seating with nice views of historic downtown.

They seem to have an extensive Oregon wine collection along with a host of really yummy sandwiches, salads and soups.

I do have to say thought that I was rather put off by the unfriendly staff; my cashier barely spoke to me and acted as if I should be walking on egg shells while I ordered (I guess I asked too many questions about the menu!). When my lunch order was ready, she looked my way and then looked down at the sandwich bag...indicating that my order was up!

Being the curious sort of guy that I am....I hung out for a few more minutes watching how other customers were treated.....sure enough a mom and daughter who walked in after me were also given the silent treatment!

I would probably give these place another try...but lets hope they hire some smiling faces w/ good attitude.
