Westin Portland Hotel

In the center of Portland, the Westin Portland enjoys easy access to the city’s best dining, shopping, and entertainment. Located within a few blocks from the hotel are Nordstrom’s, Pioneer Courthouse Square, MAX light rail, the Portland Art Museum and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. If you want to stay in the downtown..

The Westin Portland - it is my favorite among the favorites. Yes, it is the chain and some might think, to experience a real feeling of Portland, one of boutique hotels might be the best bet but this Westin is not a typical hotel targetting business clients. It is quite "homey" - their lobby area looks like a living room with fireplace. Light yellow and dark blue base decor. The rooms are not the largest but good size for a couple (of course, for single / business travellers, too). The Westin's signature Heavenly bed and double headed shower. And I was lucky enough to stay at the corner room in the top floor. The view is magnificent - the downtown Portland with the background of Mt. Hood!! Not only from the bedroom. You can even see everything from the bathroom! I think all the rooms at the top floor comes with shower only but who cares. Enjoying the view while taking a shower in morning and evening! It is my little secret spot.... to enjoy the bests of Portland.

Heavenly

Stay at the Westin on your next trip to Portland. The beds are very seriously "heavenly". If you can request a corner room, they are the smallest rooms in the hotel, but with the most windows, best views and the best bathrooms!
