A coffee house worth seeing

When I heard downtown Bend was getting ANOTHER coffee house, I was skeptical until I had my usual soy latte at Thump. The staff is friendly and the owner himself even gets behind the counter and brews you a cup of coffee, tea or latte. They get their treats from local bakeries around town and offer a daily soup. And they pour Stumptown, made famous in Portland. It's off my usual drive to work so I know I'm in for a treat when I stop at Thump.
