Good downtown alternative

In close proximity to the campus of Portland State University this restaurant is a good alternative to the pricier lunch places in downtown and it is just a 5 minute walk away. West Cafe is also open for dinner and for brunch on weekends. The menu has a focus on comfort food. The setting of the restaurant is really nice, staff was very friendly. Overall a very good and reasonably priced option for a downtown meal.
