Marco Polo

Choose the very best food in Salem from an enormous menu that grows and changes periodically. The cooks offer dishes that span the globe; hence 'global cuisine'. The menu is loaded with as many vegetarian choices as non-vegetarian. The food is inventive but never stuffy. Portions are generous. The atmosphere is relaxed. This is a family run family oriented restaurant. The buffet is only available at lunch when the clientele is mostly the office crowd. A special by reservation only Christmas Day buffet has been offered for several years now. Other holiday special meals are also offered. You absolutely cannot miss by choosing Marco Polo.

Excellent asian and vegetarian

Marco Polo is a classy but casual restaurant with a creative asian menu featuring everything from thai to chinese, with a whole section devoted to vegetarian dishes. Wonderfully fresh preparations. Costs a little more than the average restaurant in Salem but well worth it. Perfect for lunch or dinner. I love the curried szechuan noodles.
