Hellgate Jetboat Excursions
I highly recommend the Hellgate Jetboat Excursions based in Grants Pass. The excursion company offers trips on the Rogue River from two to five hours in length. You can also take a ride that includes brunch, lunch or dinner at their restaurant on the river. Parts of the cruise are mild and parts are wild. You may see deer on the banks of the river as well as eagles flying overhead, and the guides are extremely helpful and informative. The wild part is when the captain floors it and does doughnuts in the water. The trip is very reasonably priced.

Cool Jetboat trips
I have taken both the "White Water Adventure" and the "Scenic with Dinner" trips. Both were fun in their own way ...the white water trip being more intense and WET! You go down on a smaller jetboat and have to wear a life jacket for safety on that one. The Dinner trip is still fun and you'll probably get splashed at least once. Both offer a great meal with several courses and plenty to eat and drink. Both are worth trying at least once.
