For all passengers with just hand baggage, a quick way to get through security is to use the entrance located right above the light-rail line / bus station. This will take you to the long connector walkway between the C and G concourses. If you have a rental car, the majority of the rental counters are on this level too. Northwest e-ticket machines are located here. It can be a real time-saver as lines are short. If you need to get to the A,B,D or E concourses, turn left towards the C concourse, go down the elevator and you can catch a tram which will speed things up. Going to the F concourse, it is probably quicker to take the tram and then walk through the shopping mall area rather than using the moving walkways on the G concourse.
