Oregon Convention Center

The largest convention center in the Pacific Northwest, the OCC is a leader in sustainable practices. In September 2008, the Oregon Convention Center was re-certified with the LEED-EB Silver rating from the U.S. Green Building Council, making it the first convention center in the nation to achieve re-certification at a higher rating. The OCC has 50 meetings rooms and 225,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Doubletree Hotel Portland

The first hotel in Oregon to achieve a Green Seal GS-33 Lodging Sustainability Certification, the Doubletree also received an Energy Leadership Award for their commitment to energy efficiency. Each year, Doubletree saves 501,952 kilowatt hours of electricity and 2,804 therms of natural gas, and purchases 25% of their electricity through the Blue Sky renewable energy program. It has 476 guest rooms and more than 48,000 square feet of conference/meeting and restaurant space.

Hilton Portland & Executive Tower

Located in the heart of Portland's city center financial and entertainment districts, the Hilton offers 782 guestrooms in two separate buildings. The hotel is a Green Seal GS-33 Lodging Property that reduces impact, improves sustainability, replaces toxic products with eco-friendly products and saves energy.

Marriott Downtown Waterfront

Portland, Oregon

With 503 newly renovated rooms (April 2007) and 25,000 square feet of meeting space, the Marriott is also recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency with the Energy Star label for its water and energy conservation practices. It is the latest Portland hotel to receive the Green Seal certification.

Portland Center Stage

Portland Center Stage, one of the city’s major theatrical companies, makes its home in the Gerding Theater at the Armory. Following the 2006 renovation, this 1891 building became the first National Historic Landmark to receive a LEED Platinum-level certification.

Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center

Originally constructed as a warehouse in 1895, it is the first gold-level LEED-certified building in Oregon and the first gold-level LEED-certified historic restoration in the nation, incorporating environmentally-innovative materials and techniques. More than 98% of the construction waste has been recycled or reclaimed.
